The long version, for somebody deciding whether to put a real client through it: what the record is and who controls it, what the licence check actually checks, where the files sit, what is switched off today, and what one consultation costs you.
If you and your client both consent — separately, in the room — the call ends in a written record of what you advised, in the languages it was spoken in. You read it first, remove any line, and approve it; only then does your client see it. It is what answers the client who says, months later, that you never told them: consented, timestamped, approved by you. Deleted after 90 days, and no audio or video ever exists behind it.
A person checks your registration number against the public register, and the check is shown to your client with the name of who performed it and when. It exists so the ghost consultant undercutting you cannot have it.
When a client speaks Arabic, Farsi, Spanish, Tagalog or Mandarin, their side of the call is transcribed and translated into English in the written record, after the call — where you both consented to one. Nothing translates anyone while you talk: in the room, the two of you speak as on any call. One way only: the record does not render your English in their language. Machine translation — good enough to follow, not a certified translation.
The transcription and translation run on hardware we own, and no audio is ever stored. Nothing in your client’s file goes to a US cloud or a third-party AI service — a claim that survives because the product does not use one. The servers are in Europe today rather than Canada; the privacy notice says exactly where, and moving them is intended.
Verificado significa verificado.
The loudest enforcement problem in this market is people practising without a licence. A real check is how a licensed consultant stops competing with them.
The check is done by a person, from your application — there is no self-service listing and no automatic import. And it is shown as what it is: a named check with a date on it, not a subscription to the register.
The record’s transcription understands Arabic, Farsi, Mandarin, Spanish and Tagalog today, translating a client’s side into English only — in the record, after the call, never back to your client. The set was chosen against the actual composition of recent arrivals to Canada, and it grows only as a language clears the quality bar: we would rather not offer a language than offer it badly.
Nothing is translated live, inside the call: on the hardware that serves this site, the accurate model transcribes several times slower than people speak. Smaller, faster models have not yet been measured against our quality bar; nothing live ships until one clears it, and no date is promised.
