A person checks you before your profile appears anywhere — your registration number against the public register if your field is regulated, your identity if it is not. The check is shown on your profile with the name of who performed it and when.
Free, one price for the session, or free minutes then one price — you choose, and the client sees the most it can cost before they press anything. Never per minute: a meter charges more to the person who needs more time, often the one speaking a second language.
Send the clients you already have your profile link: they book or call you there, without needing an account. As the directory grows, newcomers looking for your field and your language find you there too.
If you and your client both consent — separately, in the room — the session ends in a written record. You read it first, remove any line, and approve it; only then does your client receive it. Either of you can withdraw, which deletes it; it is deleted after 90 days regardless. No audio or video is ever kept.

A newcomer often cannot tell a qualified expert from a confident one. A real check is how they can.
The check is done by a person, from your application — there is no self-service listing and no automatic import. And it is shown as what it is: a named check with a date on it, not a subscription to the register.
Your profile shows the languages you work in, and a newcomer can look for an expert by language. Nothing translates anyone while you talk. Where a written record was agreed, a client’s side in Arabic, Farsi, Mandarin, Spanish or Tagalog is transcribed and translated into English in the record, after the call — one way only, machine translation, good enough to follow and not a certified translation.
