How a call works

Send your client a link

Your profile can be rung directly — by the client you already have, not a marketplace queue. The room opens from a link in the browser, nothing to install on either side. A booked session opens on a device check first; a call you accept live goes straight in.

Everything said in the room is transcribed live, verbatim, on hardware we own — no audio leaves infrastructure we control, and none is ever recorded. When a client speaks Arabic, Farsi, Spanish, Tagalog or Mandarin, you also read their side in English as they talk. That runs one way only: nothing translates your answers back to your client.

You approve the record

If both of you consent — separately, in the room — that transcript is kept as the written record of the call, in the languages it was spoken in. You read it first, remove any line, and approve it; only then does your client receive it. Either of you can withdraw, which deletes it; it is deleted after 90 days regardless, and no audio or video ever existed behind it.

The loudest enforcement problem in this market is people practising without a licence. A real check is how a licensed consultant stops competing with them.

Before your profile appears anywhere, a person checks your registration number against the public register — CICC or your law society. The check records who performed it and when.
That named, dated check is shown on your profile and beside each credential, where your client can read it.
It is enforced in code, not policy: an unverified profile in a regulated category cannot be listed, booked or rung. The software refuses.
A badge anyone can get is worth nothing. This one exists so the ghost consultant undercutting you cannot have it.

Send one of your own clients the room link and run the call for real. Payment through us is built but switched off, so today no money moves through HawkTel and you bill exactly as you do now.
