How a session works
Find someone who knows
Look by what you need help with and the language you want to speak. Every profile shows who checked the expert and when, the languages they speak, and what a session costs.
Book a time, or call now
Book a session at a time the expert has opened — or, when they are available, call straight from their profile. The most it can cost is shown before you press anything.
Meet in your browser
Video and audio, nothing to install. A booked session opens on a device check first. Nothing is recorded: a written record exists only if you both ask for one in the room, the expert approves it before you receive it, and either of you can withdraw, which deletes it.

Verified means verified
A newcomer often cannot tell a qualified expert from a confident one. A real check is how they can.
- Before a profile appears anywhere, a person checks it. In a regulated field — immigration, mental health — that means the registration number against the regulator’s public register; in other fields, the expert’s identity.
- The check records who performed it and when, and both are shown on the profile and beside each credential.
- It is enforced in code, not policy: an unverified profile in a regulated field cannot be listed, booked or rung. The software refuses.
- A badge anyone can award themselves protects nobody. This one exists so that an unlicensed adviser cannot have it.
Founding experts use HawkTel free while it is proved. There is no price on this site because none has been set. Applying commits you to nothing — no card, no contract — and your profile goes live only after a person has checked it with you.

You set the price of a session — free, one price, or free minutes then one price — fixed before it starts, never per minute. Take bookings at times you open, or calls when you choose to be available. Send your own clients your profile link, and be found by newcomers in the directory as it grows. Payment through HawkTel is built but switched off, so today no money moves through us and you bill your clients directly.
What is true today
This page makes no claim it cannot evidence. Here is the actual state of the product.
- LiveExpert verification, enforced in code: a profile in a regulated field — immigration, mental health — cannot appear, take a booking, or be rung until a person has checked its credential against the public register. In other fields a person checks identity. The check records who performed it and when, and both are shown.
- LiveThe directory and expert profiles, searchable by field and by language. It is empty until the first experts are verified — nothing in it is invented.
- LiveBooking at times an expert opens, and calls that start right now when an expert is available. The price is fixed before the session starts — free, one price, or free minutes then one price — and never by the minute.
- LiveThe consultation room: two people, mic, camera, screen share, nothing to install. A booked session opens on a device check; a call accepted live goes straight in. The room translates nothing while people talk.
- LiveThe written record: kept only if both people consent, separately, in the room, and produced after the call ends — not during it. Where the newcomer spoke Arabic, Farsi, Spanish, Tagalog or Mandarin, their side is transcribed and translated into English in the record; nothing renders the expert back in the newcomer’s language. The expert reads it first, removes any line, and approves it; then the newcomer receives it. Either side can withdraw, which deletes it. Deleted after 90 days regardless. No audio or video is ever recorded.
- LiveEmail: booking confirmations and password resets are sent. Transcription runs on hardware the company owns and nothing is sent to a third-party AI service. The servers are in Europe today, not Canada — the privacy notice says where, and who else handles what.
- Built, offPayment. No money moves through HawkTel today; a booking is recorded and says nothing was charged.
- NextThe first verified experts and the first real sessions. There are zero experts and zero completed sessions today. The founding experts fill this row.
